Job Description

Promanning's Client : A Japanese Insurance Com. (none - Life)

KEY OUTPUTS:

1. Client Service:

- To review renewal list for timely reminders to clients

- To offer quotations for clients

- To issue insurance policies

- To look for new clients, approaching clients, selling insurance and taking care of clients

- To conduct non-life insurance seminars for both current and potential clients (explain the cover of insurance policy and claim procedure)

- To coordinate risk management seminars for existing clients

- To access the risk reasonably at clients’ site as basic for offering quotation, together with the help of technical division to execute risk survey at clients’ sites.

2. Outstanding/Unclear Premium:

- To update the status of outstanding premium and follow up the overdue premium to ensure collecting premium fully and timely

3. Business Administration:

- To manage and control day-to-day administrative operation in the Division

- To report any unusual problems to direct management

- To consult staff about any insurance issues

- To carry out insurance training for new staff        

4. With concerned departments:

  • To cooperate with Claims Division:
  • to settle the claims smoothly for customers in compliance with the company’s procedure;
  • to follow up any pending claim cases;
  • to organize risk/claim management seminars, risk survey at client’s site
  • To coordinate with Underwriting Division:
  • to follow up with Business Processing Section for operation matters;
  • to work closely with Underwriting Section for quotation and coverage;
  • to cooperate with Loss Control Engineer to make risk survey at client’s site.
  • To coordinate with HR Division for HR issues and Finance & Planning Division for all related jobs or in closed coordination with other departments for special events organized by Company.
  • To coordinate with MSIG Japan (International Dept and other Marketing Depts) and other MSIG Group Companies for the new business, potential business and existing clients business

5. In charge of Da Nang Rep Office as assigned by General Manager

6. In charge of Lexus business as assigned by General Manager

7. Others:

  • Staff training, development and supervision:
  • To improve skill of selling and enlarge knowledge of non life insurance;
  • To arrange staff to fully participate in training courses organized by company;
  • To instruct, coach and supervise the subordinates and nominees in daily works.
  • Reports to the direct Management:
  • To update the market trends directly influenced on MSIG’s business activities;
  • To report the monthly production by actual figures compared with targets;
  • To report any unusual problems if any.
  • To execute other office work as required by the Company

DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

  • To understand and act within delegated authority given by DGM.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Turnover target
  • Renewal ratio
  • Staff turnover

Job Requirement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Graduation in Marketing or Sales.
  • English fluency.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Sound knowledge of general insurance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong marketing and portfolio management

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least, 5 years of experience in activities of Non life Insurance Sales is compulsory;
  • At least 2 years experience in managerial responsibility.

-Ability to recognize, evaluate and catch the business opportunity to report to DGM timely for the leading instruction to take action;

-Ability to set up strategy of business development as well as make a detail action plan for implementation of sales targets successfully.
